Born in the surf, sand and streets of Huntington Beach, Raptor Surf Co. embodies everything that is core, innovative and progressive about contemporary surfing.

Lee Oliver, the man behind Raptor’s radical surfboard concepts, showed creative promise at a young age when he helped Ed Sakal design his first Bullit Surfboards logo. Lee went on to become a successful designer, writer and creative director for some of the most respected ad agencies in Southern California.

In 2008, Lee started collaborating with local shapers to help him develop his own brand of high-performance surfboards. He founded Raptor Surf Co. with his son Blake Oliver and before long chose Ray Promer to become his master shaper. In a relatively short amount of time, Raptor has introduced some of the most exciting and exotic surfboard designs on the market.

Today, Raptor is a family owned and operated business. Raptor is committed to helping keep our oceans clean and looks forward to developing and producing the most radical high-performance shortboard shapes and designs for the modern surfer.
